Decorating Dilemma

Wednesday, November 9, 2011

Ok, so life has been a little crazy lately and I haven't been posting as much as I'd like to, so please accept my deepest apology!! :-)  So here's what I've been up to...we close on our new home in 19 DAYS!!!, I've been going crazy over all these decorating ideas I have, so many things I want to do, trying to find, buy, redo furniture pieces for my booth and online store, then it's Thanksgiving and Christmas planning and oh yea I have the BIG 3-0 coming up in December too...UGH!!

I'm currently working on a gorgeous hutch that I forgot to take a before picture of, silly me!!  Plus I scored an amazing Victorian couch from a lady in Denver and I also picked up two wing back chairs to go along with the couch that I'll be reupholstering for my living room, if only I could decide on the look I want for that room.  So...that's where you guys come in, I have put together a few samples of fabric and decorating ideas that I'd love to get some help on!!  The hubs is great at most things but when it comes to decorating his answer is whatever you think honey!!  Gotta love em! :-)

I love the simplicity of this chair and found this beautiful french linen fabric...

Something similar to Miss Mustard Seeds chair...

But then I was also thinking of incorporating this gorgeous fabric too...
Help please!!  So I have the two chairs and a couch, the couch has the medallion in the center so that's where I was thinking of using the printed fabric and maybe also putting it on the out side of the chairs and using the linen fabric down the center?  I'm wanting to do a color scheme of blue/turquoise and a mustard yellow...yea or nay?

Also, I'd like to make a coffee table like this one...
and make a rug like this...
and possibly stencil our accent wall with this stencil, colors I'm not sure on yet...
and then adding some coordinating fabric to these curtains...
sorry couldn't get a bigger picture!!

Can you see my vision or have I totally lost you all!!  Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks a bunch!! :-)
