Here's my booth at the show!

What a loooong day!!!  Plus gotta beautiful sunburn...I look like a raccoon but it's all part of the fun right!!

Finished Projects Galore!

Here's how my shop looked before....

And Now Here's all the reveals!! I love these!!

Cute Desk to begin with but...

Even cuter in white with some new drawer pulls!

Next we have another desk!
Nice but a little to plain for me!!

And here's the After!!

Adorable in Black with creamy white pulls...sorry the pictures didn't turn out very well!!

Now on to the end tables...I loved the shape of them to begin with so I knew they were gonna be cute, unfortunately I didn't realize how much work it would actually take to make them that way!!

Sorry I forgot to take a before picture!!  I ended up painting these white and distressing them and then I had to wallpaper the top because they were laminate and I added 3 coats of sealer to them!  I am in love with bad my pictures don't do them justice!!

Here's the before of our bookshelf/hutch!
And here's the After...

So shabby chic with the white on the outside and some baby blue on the inside and a little distressing all around!

Ok, onto the chairs!!  I had a set of six dining room chairs that I split up because some were not in the best shape.  So here's the before...

And here's the after...

I painted a pair in a bay mist blue with coordinating fabrics and the other pair in cliveden camelback sofa yellow!!  Thought I'd shake things up a bit!

Hope you enjoyed all my reveals...let me know what you think!

Orange Polka Dot Chair Refinished

Thursday, May 5, 2011

I am in love with this chair...I asked my hubby if I could keep it, he said "No"!!

Here's the before...I love Before & Afters!

Ok, definitely not a chair I'd have to least not looking like this!

But this one is a big YES!!!  The transformation please...

Yup, she's a beauty!!

She got her stain stripped and sanded, then was painted a creamy white paint called Decadent by Valspar, 2 coats, then I distressed in just the right places with 150 grit sandpaper.  I removed the old striped fabric and added this beautiful orange polka dot by premier prints!

Hopefully she will find a good bad it can't be mine! :-)

Accent Tables Finished!

Wednesday, May 4, 2011

Just completed my two accent tables today!!

Here is the before picture...

Not bad, just a little boring!!

Here's what it looked like after a coat of La Fond Turquoise Paint by Valspar...

And Here's the After...

I did 2 coats of paint, then I used 100 grit sandpaper and roughed up all the edges, then I used Valspar's Antiquing Glaze to give it that aged look...after that was dry I used a creamy white paint called Decadent to apply my Damask Stencil!!  I really like how this turned out, if only I could keep it!!

The second table I finished was the End Table or Nightstand...
Here's the before to refresh your memory!!

Wow..That's not gonna win any beauty awards!!

This is how it look half way through...

And this is the After!!

I painted two coats of Valspar paint in Bay Mist, then I roughed up the edges with 100 grit sandpaper, then applied the Valspar Antiquing Glaze.  I also bought 4 new knobs for the top drawer and I spray painted them all with a creamy white color, then when they were dry I distressed them so they would look worn like the rest of the table!

So let me know what you guys think!!
